Pirate dialogue

‘DRAFT, there’s a draft! Close the door!’
‘LEANT on it, sure I did. Blew open once more.’
‘A(h), ZURE, that’s what ya always swore.
ARRAY wif ya! I’ll see ya no more.’

Shirk Abstraction

SHIRK abstraction. Celebrate, say,
GUAVA, a concrete fruit. Green, verruca’ed, yet it sweetly blends.
OPINE? No, leave tedium of punditry for others.
FABLEd zero sums sum life without living water.

Treasures by the Sea

1.

AZURE waves lap lazily against the ship whose
DRAFT allows it to ride the whale-road with an
ARRAY of Northmen bent on treasure, their shields
LEANT against their backs––for now.

2.

LEANT against the wall, the chest’s lid revealed an
ARRAY of treasures: gems gleaming scarlet and
AZURE in the torchlight. The sea breeze brings a
DRAFT of ambition through the cave.

Let there be

ANODE whence power flowed: speech, divine
AUDIO, sounding out the Let there be!, giving birth to stars, skies, earth, trees, and humankind.
CHASM bridged, maker to made, speaker to hearers drawing breath and hearing words—words by which all
BEGAN.

Beware!

RAJAH, with care, opens the jar;
COBRA pokes his head out, just so far;
PIXIE sets the snake to bite the mare’s
SHANK, which raises all the rajah’s fears.
