KNAVE that he is, he and his fellow-villain are hand in
GLOVE – both long-practiced since youth to use their
SKILL to dupe and rob the poor and
NEEDY, the needy who can’t even afford gloves.
KNAVE, armed with spirit knife, plus raging
NEEDY black hole heart, caved in by never knowing “no”.
SKILL: to be green screen, turning fear and malice into live action.
GLOVEs and masks can stave off germs; but here the cure is a faith we may have lost.
“KNAVE” branded upon his reputation like Hawthorne’s letters, but when one’s preeminent
SKILL is theft, it’s hard to escape the conclusion–just or otherwise. His marks create and propagate the
NEEDY, so his mission is to restore balance. Lady Justice holds a pair of scales, after all. Perhaps
GLOVE, rather than Hood, would be a more fitting moniker…

USUALly, I can be
MERRY when someone gives me a
KNOCK in a crowd or an accidental
SHOVE, but elbowing me in the ribs really gets up my nose!
MERRY! frolic we now ‘cross the meadow, say I.
KNOCK me over with feather, you reply,
SHOVE me a bit, but aw shucks is how it plays,
USUAL badinage that warms my days.
MERRY tried in vain to stay awake, knowing Pippin’s
USUAL knack for digging himself into trouble, then…
KNOCK, bang, stumble, and an accidental
SHOVE sending the armor clanging like a doorbell.
