Unhinged

CHART the state of my heart: I hate to be so
ELATEd, but the unblunted beauty of her
HAZEL eyes has paralyzed me. I
REACT with startling palpitations, sticks in the
SPOKEs of my bike. !Smash! I want to
TAK ‘ER in my arms and hold ‘er. Excuse the
TROLL-like language, but my ‘eart,
WRUNG, has unglued every other part.       

Priorities

HAZEL eyes widen in surprise to
REACT to news hard to believe when I
SPOKE about taking more time off, to
CHART more family trips, less project management.

Bearly bothering

TRAWLing the Arctic Sea, no
FURRY polar bears in sight, I ape an artist,
CRUDEly filling the long hours in by
BRAVEly drawing invisible bears on white paper.
